3/4 cup sugar
1 pt. heavy cream
1 pt. milk
1 pts whiskey, bourbon, or brandy
Separate eggs into yolks and whites. Beat yolks with alcoholic beverage of choice. Add 1/2 cup of sugar and beat well again. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff add remaining sugar. Heat milks until hot but not boiling. Slowly add egg yolk mixture and stir quickly. Take off stove. Fold in egg whites. Top each serving with nutmeg.
