1 3/4 cup of sugar
6 oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 cups of peeled, chopped apples
Beat sugar, cream cheese, vanilla, and butter at high speed until fluffy. Add eggs slowly and beat on low. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon and beat on medium for 5 minutes. Fold in apples. In a 9 inch pan, butter and flour the pan to prevent sticking. Bake at 350 for about 1 hour or until cake pulls away from pan.
