
This takes all of five minutes to place in a crock pot. Once you're home you add the last bag of frozen veggies, and in a matter of 15 minutes, dinner is served.
1 lb. boneless pork cut into 3/4 inch cubes
1 large onion cut into 1/4 inch wedges
1 5 oz. can bamboo shoots, drained
1/2 cup teriyaki baste and glaze
1 teaspoon of ground gingerroot
1 1 lb. package of frozen broccoli and carrots
3 cups of rice prepared in your rice cooker.
In a slow cooker combine pork, onion, teriyaki glaze, and ginger root. Stir well.
Set cooker on low and allow to cook 5 to 7 hours.
30 min. before completion, place rice in rice cooker and add appropriate water. Set on white rice setting.
About 15 mins. before serving, stir in frozen vegetables. Cook on high and for an additional 15 min.
​Serve over hot cooked rice.
