With the holidays upon you, you need a simple recipe to toss in that bread machine some days that makes a great side dish. This bread is by far one of the best recipes I have on hand that can be made in a jiffy and sliced up with a crispy crust. Inside you'll find mounds of chewy heaven that is unlike any other loaf I've experienced coming out of that bread machine. YUM!
1 1/2 tsp. of active yeast
1 3/4 cups of water
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. salt
Place all in bread machine. Turn on setting for medium loaf. Let bread maker do it's thing while you race around the house trying to complete your holiday chores. Do check bread machine when it is first spinning the ingredients to make sure your dough is a slightly sticky ball. Add more flour or water until it reaches the desired consistency.
