Simple to make, you'll be amazed at how delicious these are. Next time there is a wing sale heading your way at your favorite supermarket, grab a packet of chicken wings and get busy.
12 bone-in chicken wings
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tab. fresh ginger, shredded
1/3 cup Honey
Pinch of pepper
Approximately 3 tab. cornstarch as a thickener
Thinly Sliced Green Onions for garnish
Pre-heat the air fryer to 400 degrees. Rinse and pat dry wings
Transfer the wings to the air fryer basket with room between them so they aren't touching to allow for the air to flow on all sides. Cook 25 minutes.
Prepare sauce: In saucepan over medium heat, mix together soy sauce, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, honey, and pepper, stirring continuously.
As sugar melts and honey thins, begin adding the cornstarch a pinch at a time. Keep stirring in the cornstarch until you arrive at the desired consistency for your sauce, remove from heat.
When wings are done cooking, place in large bowl. Pour sauce over wings and toss to coat.
Sprinkle with green onions if desired.
